In October, five of us decided to take an exploration trip into an area called Green Valley. This was perhaps ten miles upstream from where we had gone in September and the difficulty was access. Between China and India alone, roughly two billion people are on the verge of becoming middle class consumers. Good or bad, this is called progress, and it seems inevitable.
It is my belief that these trends toward rising budgetary and trade deficits, escalating monetary creation and interest rates that are being held at artificially low levels will continue and I believe that further US Dollar weakness has now been built into the system.
In order to see what geologic maps can do, we need to think about what we are looking for.
How can a miner or prospector take advantage of these speedy financing options while avoiding the risks associated with borrowing from so-called “shadow banks?”
Recent reports could be pointing toward a genuinely important change in direction for the American economy and it is a change that could be positive for the precious metals over time.
