Canyon Resources Offers to Sell Mineral Rights
July 2000 by Associated PressCanyon Resources Corporation recently offered to let environmental groups buy the mineral rights under nearly a million acres of land in western Montana.
Representatives of every major environmental group in northern Arizona and nearly every American Indian tribe in the region lined up at a public hearing recently to praise officials from the Coconino National Forest.
