This assay system of ounces per ton sounds simple enough, but the use of the metric system and the additional measuring terms of “grams per ton” and “parts per million” (ppm) has created some misunderstanding of ore value.
Q: Does anyone know of an electrowinning instrument that will plate (heavy plate) rhodium and iridium? I have both in solution. (Solution content = 262.9 oz/ton of iridium; 14.9 oz/ton rhodium.)
If I have precious metals in solution in bulk, say 620 to 1,000 gallons, is there a facility to extract the precious metals out? If so, can each be isolated?
