European Gold Miners Seek Clarification Letter
December 1999 by Associated PressThree European gold mining companies want the Bank of England to publicly state its activities in the gold and gold derivitatives markets. In a letter to the Financial Times, three small mining companies representing the majority of European gold production said since the start of the year, scores of reports about manipulation of the gold price had surfaced.

On August 29, 2003, the “Miners” (Waldo Mining District, along with Bob & Lesa Barton of Armadillo Mining Shop) filed Complaints in US District Court for the District of Oregon (Medford) against the United States Forest Service, Scott Conroy (in his official capacity as Forest Supervisor of the Siskiyou National Forest), and Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans.
In 2005, my wife and I, along with our supervisor Horacio, made numerous business and supply trips from Arivechi, Sonora, to the capital of Sonora, Hermosillo. This is a distance of 135 miles along a very narrow paved mountain road.
It is my belief that these trends toward rising budgetary and trade deficits, escalating monetary creation and interest rates that are being held at artificially low levels will continue and I believe that further US Dollar weakness has now been built into the system.
After a while I got a very nice signal and out came a sweet kidney-shaped bit of gold weighing about three grams.
