David Shackleton has been serving in the United States Marine Corps since 1991, and is currently stationed in Virginia. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys prospecting adventures in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and California. He is a member of the Central Virginia Gold Prospectors club, the Contrary Creek Prospectors Organization, and Bearfoot Gold.
