Mining Expedition at Eagle Rock—Part I

The Chinle Formation, of Triassic age, underlies about 100,000 square miles in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. It adds to the scenic grandeur of the great Colorado Plateau province, noted for its high cliffs and deep canyons.
Several thousand miners and their families made it a successful show. Local mining companies gave employees time off to attend the Thursday and Friday exhibits and events.

These moves were the first serious interruption to the bull market, which had not encountered a serious decline since the election of November, 2016.
