The Beatty Mining District of Nevada

The Beatty Mining District in south-central Nevada has been one of the most productive Mining Districts in the state, producing millions of ounces of gold together with silver, fluorite, mercury and other valuable minerals.
Every year the Northwest Mining Association holds an industry trade show. Many vendors are on hand, and there are many presentations given. With thousands of folks in attendance it’s not hard to get a pulse on what is happening in the mining industry.
Alaska is in the midst of assessing its rare-earth resources, an effort pushed by Governor Sean Parnell, who sees them as another example of where the US is reliant on foreign sources to meet its needs.
Many miners know that lead is very commonly associated with silver values, but the truth is that it is also associated with gold values in many locations as well.
We sent them a lot of information, including my presentation about the area and its potential. We were excited to learn a couple weeks later that the company was interested in the property.
