Significant Oil and Gas on Alaska's Central North Slope

A US Geological Survey (USGS) assessment of undiscovered oil and gas resources of the central part of the Alaska North Slope and the adjacent state offshore area finds that there is a significant amount of oil and a large amount of gas that remains to be discovered.Prospecting Research

Some assay beads disappear, collapse, hide under the surface, or spread out flat while being cupelled, just as the last tiny bit of liquid litharge is driven off. This is especially true of platinum, iridium and osmium, when attempting to re-bead the filtered residue from a parted bead.
