There you’re expected to be personally responsible in making decisions, and yes, it can be costly. When you are responsible for your own life, you live life more, and with it you certainly risk more.

The site of the old mining camp of Quartzville is 30 miles northeast of Sweet Home, Oregon, via a road which is paved for much of the distance. It is located in mountainous terrain along the west slope of the rugged Cascade Range, with elevations ranging from 1,600 to over 4,000 feet.
I probably swung over a few targets without noticing them. My first target came about ten minutes later as I went over a part of the high bench in this wide section of the dry wash.
Every year prospectors and rock hounds search Wyoming for gold, gemstones and other attractive rocks and minerals; the Wyoming State Geological Survey (WSGS) has now made this hunt easier.
