GM to Cancel Mining Contracts
August 2009 by Associated PressGovernor Brian Schweitzer is calling on the Obama administration to force General Motors to honor its contract with a Montana mining company instead of going overseas to buy the precious metals used to control vehicle pollution.
The mine will be open for public tours Saturday and Sunday afternoons beginning August 24, lasting into the fall and winter as weather permits.
