Progress Continues in Honduras

He had meetings with Honduran officials at all levels, set up a new corporation called Raptor Mining in El Corpus, Honduras, and is in the process of establishing a non-profit called “Step Up for Honduras.”
I’d like to offer some practical comments about staking and maintaining mining claims. Owning your own claim is the dream of many prospectors. The whole purpose of sampling mineralized ground is to measure the values in a small volume of material that would be representative of a much larger volume of similar material. The key word is representative. Chemical and fire assaying will not accurately represent placer deposits by themselves.
Critical minerals are products that the government has designated as critical to our national interest because of both their potential military and industrial applications.
It is not necessary to have a PhD in geology, but you need to know the basics, so that’s what I am going to try to dig into here—the understandable basics of these gigantic gold deposits.
Doug told me that there had been a 100-year flood that took place in October of 2013 and it washed out part of the mile-long landing strip. It also washed a large, wide gully down below and above the camp.
The zone of influence of each sample must be carefully considered when deciding how far sample sites should be spaced from each other.
