Over the Divide
November 2006 by StaffLesa Dale Barton, formerly of Armadillo Mining Shop of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away September 6, 2006 after bravely fighting cancer for several months.
The mine will be open for public tours Saturday and Sunday afternoons beginning August 24, lasting into the fall and winter as weather permits.
We’ve built up some contacts in DC during our trips there over the past four years, and we believe we finally have the correct contacts who can get this petition reviewed by the proper people.
We chatted for a bit and then we had to take off, but I kept what he said in the back of my mind as we rushed out to some other gold-bearing place in the Mother Lode to feed our gold fever.
