Company Says Central Idaho Project Feasible

This adit will be nearly 3.5 miles long when it reaches the ore zone.
For more than 40 years, iron ore prices have been decided by private negotiations conducted between the largest of the iron miners and the largest steel producers. These two sides dominate both the spot and contract iron ore markets.
If approved, the project would use block caving to extract the remaining ore, most of which is 7,000 feet below ground level.
