Once again we'd like to thank the many participants in our annual photo contest. Picking our favorite ten photos is never an easy task, as there were so many great photos from which to choose.
Getting Started
He excitedly told me he was going mining and wanted to know where he should go, how to do it, and so on. After he calmed down, I got excited. “I need to go!” was my response.
Tucson Mountain Chaos
The Tucson Mountains are immediately west of Tucson, in southern Arizona, and include residential areas of the city. The highest peak, Wasson (Amole) Peak, reaches 4,687 feet. It is part of the great Basin-Range physiographic province, characterized by fault-block mountain ranges separated by broad desert valleys.
