The great question now is whether the correction that followed was an end to that bull market—or just a lengthy corrective phase prior to another important bullish move. Let’s turn to technical analysis of the chart for a possible answer.
Some financial commentators have speculated that bitcoin and other virtual currencies have captured a portion of funds that would have been invested in gold. I find it a bit ironic that people who invest in precious metals would even consider another fiat currency.
…there is now concrete evidence that growing numbers of investors and other concerned observers are now turning to gold as a storehouse of value in these potentially troubling times.
We’ll conclude by digging a bit more into the regulations and pitfalls, and discuss what they are used for, their relationship to gold, and what the future holds.
As we have noted through the years, perhaps the most direct, single influence on the future of gold and silver is their monetary opposite—currencies in general, the US Dollar in particular.
