Last summer I spent all of my weekends and most of my vacation time camped out on the south fork of the Yuba River with a couple of gold miners by the name of Leon and Joe.
After removing about six inches of dirt and cobbles, the sound was a bit more recognizable. I was now confident that there was a definite target and not just a ground noise.

Q: In the Feb 2008 Mining Journal you ran an article, “Gold Deposits of North Carolina,” by Chris Ralph. The article states that the 1872 Mining Law does not apply in North Carolina and in fact only has merit in 19 of the 50 states. Can you explain how that could happen?
Next, all of silver’s chart action since mid-2011 has taken place under a declining trend line (dotted line), which has held for more than four years. Any trendline of that duration must be taken seriously.
