Eastern Oregon Mine Seeks Permits
September 2012 by Associated PressAfter a host of companies spent 20 years prospecting, a mining firm is ready to make a play on the $2 billion lode of gold sitting in Eastern Oregon.
The mine will be open for public tours Saturday and Sunday afternoons beginning August 24, lasting into the fall and winter as weather permits.
