URGENT: Encourage Governor Schwarzenegger to veto SB 670

Senate Bill 670 has passed both the California Senate and Assembly. After ratification by the Senate, the bill will head to the governor for his signature.SB 670 will prevent the state from issuing suction gold dredging permits until a new Environmental Impact Report is completed, which could take several years to complete.
Governor Schwarzenegger has 12 days to act on the bill, but could sign it immediately.
Please take a moment to contact the governor and ask him to veto SB 670.
