Gold Reaches Record High

Gold contracts for December delivery reached record prices today on the New York Mercantile Exchange.The price per troy ounce surpassed $1,270 per ounce, with silver. platinum and palladium also gaining ground.
Silver is trading at over $20.00 per troy ounce, while platinum hit $1,591 and palladium $550 per ounce at midday.
