El Dorado County Sheriff strips Forest Service of State law enforcement power

Three cheers for Sheriff John D'Agostini!Sheriff D'Agostini sent a letter to the US Forest Service, advising them they are no longer allowed to enforce State laws in El Dorado County, California.
“I take the service that we provide to the citizens of El Dorado County and the visitors to El Dorado County very seriously, and the style and manner of service we provide,” D’Agostini told CBS Sacramento. “The U.S. Forest Service, after many attempts and given many opportunities, has failed to meet that standard.”
