----------------------------------------------------------

We have a few spots remaining for our hands-on placer training classes on Friday, April 15, & Monday, April 18.

We'll be teaching panning, highbanking and detecting at a private mining property about one hour north of Auburn, California. We'll depart from Auburn together at about 7:00am and head up to the training site. (Those who sign up for a class will receive the meeting address, map, entry bracelets, etc.)

There will be approx. 15 instructors available to assist you. If you have a detector sitting in your closet, it's a great opportunity to bring it out and put it to use! We we provide group instruction for your particular brand/model, then individual instruction for those who need more.

You can stay and play until 4:00pm. I'll be there on Friday morning to help get things started, then I'm heading over to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville to prepare for the vendor/exhibitor/lecture portion on Saturday & Sunday. I'll be back out at the training site for the second placer class on Monday.

If you're interested in highbanking you can bring your own or utilize one of the many highbanking stations we will have set up.

You can still sign up for the hands-on placer classes online, but be sure to provide a valid email address and phone number. We will email over the registration packet, map, etc., and you can pick up your entry bracelet when we meet in the morning on the actual training day.

Here's just a few of the intstructors who will be there to assist you:

Mike Bowers
President, Mother Lode Goldhounds
Pat Keene

Jim McCullough
