Description:  Nearly 100 exhibits of gems, minerals, fossils & lapidary arts; speakers & programs; on-going demos of lapidary arts, jewelry making & gold panning; raffle prizes & silent auctions; dozens of dealers; children’s activities & free resources for teachers.  Proceeds support several scholarships to college students in the earth sciences and/or jewelry arts & also support free educational outreach efforts for schools, teachers, home-schoolers & youth groups.
