Tom Turner
Tom is a professional exploration geologist with more than 45 years of field experience. He is credited with the discovery of the Peñasquito Gold-Silver-Lead-Zinc and Noche Buena Gold deposits, Zacatecas, Mexico, the Cerro Blanco Gold deposit, Guatemala and the Taware River Gold deposit, Indonesia. Peñasquito is owned by Newmont Corporation and is Mexico’s largest open pit gold mine. Cerro Blanco is being developed by its current owner, Bluestone Resources, Inc.
Tom has worked in Alaska, Mexico, Central and South America, Indonesia, and Western and North-Central US. He continues to explore for copper and gold in Nevada. Tom welcomes questions or comments via email.
