Tom Kunkler resides with his wife, Marie, in Connecticut and Florida depending on the weather, and has been detecting since 1958. His coin, relic and treasure hunting expanded to prospecting in 1989. He’s traveled the USA from coast to coast -- Canada, Mexico and Europe -- relic and gold hunting. He owns an arsenal of metal detectors and his enthusiasm has promoted detecting to hundreds if not thousands of people during his years of travels and conversations. His expertise is required often by archeologist, law enforcement and for returning lost precious items to individuals.
