Sierra County Mining District
Sierra County, California


The Sierra County Mining District is getting organized/modernized with the assistance of the Minerals and Mining Advisory Council (MMAC).
 
The Sierra County Mining District is located in Sierra County, California, and was established June 6, 1859. Like the name implies, it encompasses all of Sierra County.
 
A meeting will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Indian Valley Outpost Resort, 4601 Hwy 49, Camptonville, CA 95922. The scheduled time is approximately 12 noon.
 
Interested claimholders in the Sierra County Mining District are encouraged to attend and participate. (Please bring your BLM claimholder records in order to participate in the vote.) This general membership meeting will discuss the bylaws, elect officers, and discuss steps necessary for federal recognition under the 1872 Mining Law.

The Tenmile Mining District is getting organized/modernized with the assistance of the Minerals and Mining Advisory Council (MMAC).
 
The Tenmile Mining District is located in Idaho County, Idaho, and was established 1861. 
 
A meeting will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016, at the Super 8 Motel, 801 W South 1st St, Grangeville, Idaho.  The scheduled time is approximately 7:00 pm.
 
Interested claimholders in the Tenmile Mining District are encouraged to attend and participate. This general membership meeting will discuss the bylaws, elect officers, and discuss steps necessary for federal recognition under the 1872 Mining Law. Please bring your BLM claimholder records in order to participate in the vote.

Montana Mining Districts (60)
Twelve (12) Counties Represented


Minerals and Mining Advisory Council administrators have been asked for assistance with sixty (60) Mining Districts across twelve (12) counties in central and south-central Montana. These include Broadwater, Carbon, Gallatin, Golden Valley, Jefferson, Meagher, Musselshell, Park, Stillwater, Sweetgrass, Wheatland and Yellowstone counties.

A meeting will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Columbus Fire Department Firehall, 944 E Pike Ave, Columbus, MT 59019. The scheduled time is 10:00am.

Interested claimholders are encouraged to attend and participate. This general membership meeting will discuss bylaws, elect officers, and discuss steps necessary for federal recognition under the 1872 Mining Law. Please bring a copy of your valid BLM paperwork if you wish to vote.
