Our huge Gold Prospecting and Mining Summit is this weekend, May 12-13, at the Placerville Fairgrounds, right in the heart of California's Motherlode.
We've had to expand to accomodate additional booth requests this year. As a result, you can expect to see 80 booths with everything from gold pans, sluices and detectors up to concentrating tables and trommels.
We've also expanded the lecture area to accommodate more attendees, where our writers and staff will be providing instruction throughout both days.
Nearly 3,000 miners and prospectors joined us last year, and it looks like we'll exceed that number this time around!
We have a few spaces remaining for the additional hands-on classes on Monday and Friday. Further details, including the lecture/training schedule, are available online.
