We encourage and welcome articles for publication consideration.  You may address any one of the many facets of the mining industry...from prospecting experiences to assay education to mining finance to operations.

We prefer manuscripts in Microsoft Word sent via e-mail. However, submitted manuscripts may be typewritten and double-spaced. Please call our office at (831) 479-1500 if you have any questions.

Composition and spelling are important. Content must be original, free of copyrights, and have not been published elsewhere. Please include a statement to that effect. Also, please state, "ICMJ is free to use this submission electronically."

We request biographical data with your article. If you use reference material with your article, please cite same.

ICMJ does not accept promotional material for products or services.  ICMJ maintains strict objectivity and will not accept articles engaging in self-promotion.

Photographs are desirable and can be sent via email if they are scanned with a minimum of 300dpi resolution. Photos can also be mailed. Maps are also encouraged where available. Map reprinting permission should be obtained unless the map was printed by a government agency or entity. Should you wish to have materials returned, please specify that desire.

ICMJ reserves the right to edit all articles. If an inordinate amount of editing is needed, it will be returned to the author for review.

Payment will be considered if requested. Quality is the primary factor...we do not count the number of words. Quality maps and photos are a consideration. Payment is made once the article is published.
